Enterprise day at Ursuline Prep Warley raises funds for local charities
The children in Upper Two / Year 6 at Ursuline Prep Warley have been preparing for their annual Enterprise Day for many weeks now. The children prepared for this charity event in their
schoolhouses and are asked to think of ways in which they can raise money for their chosen charities. This year the children chose The British Heart Foundation, Cancer Research, Dementia U.K and GOSH as their charities.
Each House set up their stall selling food and drink items along with their funfair game. The hall was a buzz with excitement and sales patter as each class from Pre-Reception to Lower Two came to spend their cash.
Everyone had a fantastic time and it was great to see Upper Two utilise their entrepreneurial skills.
A huge well done to Upper 2, their parents and all of the children at school for supporting this amazing event. All of their hard work has culminated in a fundraising total of £1451.10 which is incredible.
