Children’s book project Ursuline Prep Warley

We have been lucky enough, over the summer, to have received lots of donations of wonderful books to our school. We have also been working hard to ensure our school library is the most productive and functional space for our children. We had a huge tidy up in the library which has led to us having an excess of books. This left us in a very privileged position, as we had many duplicates of the same title books. Consequently, we came to the decision to donate these excess books to The Children’s Book Charity. In total we were able to donate over 1000 books to this wonderful charity that donates books to hospitals, refuge centres, prisons and homes where children cannot afford such beautiful books.

The charity was overwhelmed and very grateful for our donation. We will endeavour to continue to support this charity and do all we can to ensure that all children are able to access books no matter what their circumstances.
