CISC Lenten Retreat with David Wells – week one

I’m very excited to introduce our CISC lenten retreat, led for us by David Wells who will, of course, be a keynote speaker at the CISC virtual Conference ‘To Grow is to Change….In the Spirit of St John Henry Newman’.

Each week, David will lead us in a reflection on the gospel of the preceding Sunday in his unique, disarming and engaging style which is at once, unassuming and profound. The first ‘encounter’ is available below and subsequent encounters will be released every Wednesday as we progress through this Lenten half-term.

Each one lasts less than 10 minutes so I hope they will allow you a moment of calm reflection in even the busiest of weeks. My thanks to David for his wisdom and grace in putting these together for us and to Antony and Paula for their support.
