Christmas Card Competition

Very well done to all the participants in this competition. The theme “Courage in Conflict” was challenging but it inspired a lot of excellent work.

Mother and Child”, painted by Constance Hui Age 17 St Mary’s Cambridge, is a very worthy winner. Constance’s picture captures the mother’s love for her child; perhaps they are refugees keeping warm having fled from Syria or Iraq? There is a hint that this represents Mary’s love for Jesus – they also had to flee their country in order to avoid death at the hands of King Herod.
